Understanding Buoyancy

Buoyancy is the upward force that allows objects to float, determined by the pressure difference between the top and bottom of submerged objects. When the buoyancy force equals the weight of an object, it achieves neutral buoyancy, as seen in fish using swim bladders. The relationship between the weight of an object and the displaced fluid is crucial; if the weight exceeds the buoyancy force, the object sinks, while equal forces result in floating.
