Milky Way Insights

The Milky Way galaxy is vast, with the solar system compared to a quarter amidst the expansive size of France. Rapid star formation in its spiral arms gives them a distinct bluish hue. Additionally, the Milky Way is part of the local group of galaxies, which includes the Andromeda galaxy, and both are on a collision course that will eventually merge them into a mega galaxy.
