Immune Cell Interactions

Killer T cells and B cells play crucial roles in the immune response, with T cells specifically needing antigens to be presented on other cells for activation. Antigen presenting cells, including B cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells, display these antigens, facilitating communication and triggering responses from helper T cells. Once activated, helper T cells rapidly divide and secrete cytokines, which regulate and enhance various immune functions, including inflammation and the activity of natural killer cells.
