Mixtures Explained

Mixtures consist of two or more substances that are physically combined but not chemically bonded. Solutions, a specific type of mixture, are homogeneous, meaning they appear uniform throughout as particles dissolve at the molecular level. Unlike chemical reactions that change the properties of substances, mixing salt and water retains the original characteristics of both components.
