Centripetal vs. Centrifugal

Centrifugal force is merely an apparent force, as objects naturally tend to move in a straight line unless acted upon by a centripetal force. This inward force, such as the tension in a string when swinging an object, continuously alters the direction of the moving object, allowing it to maintain circular motion. Understanding the relationship between linear and angular motion reveals that both share fundamental principles, differing only in their measurement units.
