Work and Muscle Dynamics
The concept of work in physics can be misleading, especially when observing weightlifters who appear to exert tremendous effort without moving the weight. While they aren't doing work on the weight itself, their muscles are actively working internally, contracting and relaxing, which consumes energy. This distinction highlights that work can occur within the body, affecting energy levels and muscle dynamics, even if it doesn't translate to movement of the external object being lifted. In this clip
