Forgiveness and Justice

Forgiveness is a powerful act, but it does not equate to reconciliation or absolution of consequences. Some individuals may be forgiven, yet trust is irrevocably broken, preventing them from re-entering one's life. True forgiveness involves relinquishing the desire for revenge while still acknowledging the need for justice.
