Pong with Neurons
Scientists explored whether brain cells could learn to play pong by providing feedback on their performance. Using a system called "dish brain," they connected living neurons to a computer, allowing the cells to receive signals about the game. The experiment revealed that while the brain cells didn't excel, they improved significantly with the right motivation and feedback, even outperforming mouse cells when human cells were used.In this clip
