Scaling Temporal Clusters

Multi-cluster replication is primarily focused on reliability, while performance and scalability are addressed through the unique design of temporal clusters. With the ability to scale almost infinitely, temporal can saturate any database, but the choice of database significantly impacts performance. For high-rate use cases, leveraging Cassandra is recommended, while MySQL or Postgres may suffice for lower rates. Additionally, temporal's architecture allows for independent clusters across regions, ensuring resilience against outages and database corruption.
