China’s Intelligence Strategy

China has leveraged the West's focus on counterterrorism to launch a proactive intelligence offensive aimed at establishing itself as a superpower. Since 2005, the Ministry of State Security has aggressively pursued strategies to rival the US, reminiscent of the KGB's tactics during the first Cold War.
