Millions are currently living with hepatitis C, with estimates ranging from 71 to 180 million globally. Alarmingly, only 19% of those infected are aware of their diagnosis, and just a fraction has received treatment. Despite being a curable disease, hepatitis C still claims around 400,000 lives each year, highlighting a critical need for increased awareness and access to treatment.
