Confidence and Anxiety

Chronic anxiety can hinder performance across various aspects of life, as it keeps the brain in a threat mindset. Moderate anxiety, however, can be beneficial and motivate us to stretch our abilities. Building confidence often requires "faking it" until it becomes a habit, which can be achieved through repetition and overcoming self-doubt. A slight edge of overconfidence is preferable, as it can lead to greater opportunities and successes.
