She distinguishes this from hyperplasticity, which is linked to addictive behaviors and drugs of abuse 4.

Many people in your audience may have also heard of the idea that psychedelics are inducing plasticity and I'm very careful not to use that word if I can avoid it because plasticity is a word that is thrown around a lot.
