Husband's Role

Extended family support plays a crucial role in Davis's diabetes management. Mary Margret's parents and in-laws have been actively involved, attending educational meetings to understand diabetes care better 3. Her mother's vigilance, stemming from a family history of type 1 diabetes, was instrumental in Davis's early diagnosis 4. This collective effort ensures Davis receives comprehensive care, as Mary Margret notes, "My mom kind of told me, said, I think something's going on with Davis because he was drinking lots of water, wetting his diaper overnight."
