The organization Black Women for Black Lives has been pivotal in supporting African students in Ukraine, many of whom are pursuing higher education in fields like medicine and engineering 3. Tokunbo Koiki explains that their efforts have shifted from helping students escape Ukraine to assisting them in seeking asylum and continuing their education in Europe 3. We've had students who have been successful to be able to make it back to their home countries. We have other students who want to stay in different parts of Europe, mainly to continue their education.
