Hi, my name is Amber. I'm a mom of two who has lost 20lbs over the last year and completely recomped my body. I have been following a 4/5 day split with two upper body days, two lower body days, and a core-focused day for over a year. I've decided to change it up a bit and am trying the MAPS Muscle Mommy program. I am nervous because I feel like there’s not that much focus on lower body. Can you explain the science behind the program and the benefits and cons of doing it over a 5-day split? I know that more rest days and full body days will hit the muscle groups each week more, but I just need some reassurance and science behind it! I love the podcast and look forward to hopefully hearing back!
I purchased the MAPS Muscle Mommy program and I am one week in, but I am curious if I purchased the right program for me. I usually train 5 days a week with a split routine, but after listening to your podcast, I decided to give a program a try. It just seems so much less challenging. Am I giving my muscles the right stimulus by using this program? Or should I have purchased a different one, like MAPS Aesthetic or a more intense program? I’m worried that by cutting my training and volume down so much, I may lose gains or not make the progress I was before.
How long does each workout in the MAPS 15 Muscle Mommy program really take?
