I have a history of up to five or even more years of overtraining. I also did my labs and found out that I have high cortisol and low progesterone. I currently eat 2073 kcal per day and 165g of protein. I want to eat relatively low carbs (under 200g) and enough fats. I want to go on a bulk for the next two years or at least a long time and slowly increase my calories. How much should I bulk to begin with, and what should my macros be? I weigh 75kg and I'm 165cm tall.
I have a question about this episode How Strength Training & Cardio Promotes Younger Skin | Mind Pump 2379 and this Strength and Body Fat. I've completed a bulk at 3000 calories for nine weeks. I started at 232lbs, went to 238lbs in 5 weeks, and for the last 4 weeks, I've stayed at 238lbs. Should I start a cut seeing it seems like my body has adapted to the 3000 calories? I was planning to cut to 2500 calories for 6 weeks, then have a week of maintenance, then another 6-week cut. Is this a good approach?
I have a question about the episode s4/e08 Demystifying Metabolism for the Endurance Athlete with Dr. Stephanie Compton, PhD, RD and the clip Weight Loss Insights. I'm considering an 800 Cal diet like David Goggins. Currently, I am at 1400 calories, but after losing my first 30lbs, I wasn't seeing any more progress, so I went down to a 1200-calorie diet and maintained it for about 6 months, doing 45 minutes of Burn Boot Camp 5 days per week. However, there was no weight loss on the scale at all—just fluctuations of ±6 lbs from day to day. I've kept the 30lbs off for a little over a year, but I'm not moving and have not been for the past 6 months. I have PCOS, or what health professionals refer to as a form of PCOS, so I have had no luck losing weight. I was hoping to find insight or recommendations to step it up.
