Boosting Caloric Intake
Consistency is key when following a workout program, and increasing caloric intake can significantly enhance strength gains. Opting for fattier cuts of meat and whole foods like rice and sweet potatoes can help meet higher calorie goals. Prioritizing nutrient-dense options while focusing on building strength is essential before considering any cutting phases. In this clip

If I'm trying to get as strong as possible and lose body fat while doing MAPS Anabolic, and I'm a 230 lb, 36-year-old male, 5'11" who lifts 3 days a week, should I keep my fat macro low, protein at a 1:1 ratio, and carbs high?
I'm 35, a father of two beautiful girls, and I've been working as a mailman in a delivery service for the past year. I am 185 cm tall and weigh 96 kg, having previously weighed up to 155.6 kg a few years ago. Since then, I flipped my life upside down by changing my diet, tracking calories and macros, and building a solid home gym, where I train almost every day, 5 to 6 times per week. I've made good progress, but I feel like I've reached a plateau. That's why I bought your programs, and I hope this will help me further with my goals. I'm around 20% body fat and have always wanted to be between 12% and 15%, but it hasn't been easy to get there. I have a huge appetite despite eating 220 to 250 grams of protein and 2500 calories every day for the past two years. Is it possible that I'm eating too little? Should I eat more now that I have started anabolic training, or should I stick to a deficit? I'm just a little afraid of getting much heavier. Hope you can help me out, and thanks for everything you guys do.
I need your help! I'm a 30-year-old male who is 5'10", weighs around 195-200 pounds, and has a body fat percentage of 22-23%. I've been working out regularly (currently doing MAPS 15) and try to walk 8,000-10,000 steps daily. Here's where I need help: I want to get freaking strong but also lean out (lose body fat). I want to run MAPS Anabolic and MAPS Anabolic Advanced to a tee. The issue is, my maintenance calories are somewhere around 2300-2400, which seems too low for someone my size. How do I slowly increase calories while getting stronger and running those two programs? I find I do better when I eat a little higher fat and lower carb. I just feel better this way. Will this approach hinder my gains?
