Would it be okay to do one long-distance run (10-21 km) every other week while currently following MAPS Anabolic and focusing on building muscle?
There is a 21km run in March that I plan to attend, so my question is: What should my training look like? I usually do at least 2 full-body workouts a week, with a lighter upper body session on Wednesday (for socializing purposes) and a light full-body session on Thursday (50% workout, 50% socializing). If I get the week to myself, it will be 3 full-body sessions a week.
I am currently on the MAPS program, rotating between anabolic, performance, and now supposed to be in the first phase of aesthetics. However, it feels a bit time-consuming, and I wonder if I should go back to the anabolics phase.
