It would be helpful if you expanded on the concepts of decreasing skepticism or cynicism and increasing the belief in human potential to overcome adversity. As an EMDR therapist, I'm often assisting clients in shifting from their negative core beliefs (neuronets) to thought patterns that are more adaptive. Often, clients who are highly cynical about the state of humanity and global affairs are the most difficult to help because they get stuck in a very negative mindset. Thanks.
