On my first run, my coach told me to do a run with an average pace of 8:07/km for 50 minutes. She called it an "aerobic run" but asked me to ignore my heart rate and focus on pace. What do you suspect she is doing?
My current running workouts include 1x tempo, 2x medium endurance, and 1x long endurance runs. Is this an effective balance?
