Is this accurate? "If I were running a marathon tomorrow, here are 5 science-backed things I’d do to get the most out of my body. And these will help you crush any endurance workout, too. First, I’m fueling up the night before with complex carbs. They’ll fill my glycogen stores which will turn into energy on race day. Second, during the race I’m drinking water and electrolytes every 15 minutes, aiming for 20 ounces per hour. Third, I’ll have simple carbs on hand for quick energy boosts during the race. Fourth, I’m controlling my body temperature with makeshift palmar cooling to delay fatigue and prevent overheating from slowing me down. Fifth, mentally, I’m breaking different parts of the race into mini-goals which increases performance and motivation. I put the science in the caption."
