Fats and Health

Research shows that juvenile monkeys on a high saturated fat diet developed significantly more plaque in their arteries compared to those on a low saturated fat diet. While low saturated fat diets are recommended for lowering blood pressure, the effects of different fats remain inconsistent. Interestingly, whole food forms of dairy may not impact blood pressure as much as previously thought, suggesting that a plant-rich diet could be more effective for managing blood pressure and overall health.
