Why do people count reps? As long as you're in a decent range and getting to 1-3 reps in reserves, why bother? The amount of people I see either cheating to get to a certain number or, even worse, leaving a ton of gas in the tank, is astounding. I've gotten sick results aiming for 6-15 reps every set and not counting anything. What are your thoughts on this?
How can some people go to failure on a set and still get close to the same number of reps in the next set, while I can barely get to half the reps in the next set after going close to failure? Am I doing something wrong?
