A pivotal moment came when he was appointed to a youth committee, only to find himself alone at a meeting, which led him to abandon his faith.

    I just wanted to be an actor in New York City. And so I just jettisoned anything and everything to do with religion.

    Enlightenment

    Rainn Wilson's return to spirituality was a gradual process, spurred by a period of personal turmoil and dissatisfaction.
